Item # MSG706
Ithaca was well known for a good quality trap shotgun with their single shots probably being some of the best on the trap range. This gun has a 32" vent rib bbl with full choke. On top of the rib on the front sight is one of those elongated type glow sights. It is marked Ithaca and evidently correct to the gun. Vent rib also has a small center ivory bead. Like a lot of trap guns, this one has a rather long pull at about 14-1/4". The metal is beautiful with bbl having nearly all finish remaining. The frame is also in very nice shape with all the engraving intact. Some case colors remain with the balance turning an aged grey. Wood is VG. No cracks or losses. On the pistol grip is a very ornate cap with the letter "M" on it. Solid gun with a great bore!

MSG718 PARKER HAMMER SHOTGUN
Item # MSG718
This S x S shotgun is in 12 ga. 30" bbls. Exposed hammer shotgun. Metal cond of this gun is quite good with smooth clean metal. Unfortunately some one has done quite a bit of cleaning on the bbls and they are a silver color. More than likely they did a cleaning to the bores. There is a couple minor dents in the bbl. Receiver does still have light case coloring. Buttstock is in relatively good cond with Parker buttplate. There is a hole drilled in the buttplate. Don't know why. Stock is nice and most likely has a coat of varnish applied. Forearm is VG with no cracks or losses. This would be fine gun for some one who wants to own a Parker without breaking the bank.

MIROKU OVER AND UNDER 20 GAUGE SHOTGUN
Item # MSG614-19-252
Miroku is of course well known in the firearms business as manufacturing guns for other companies such as Winchester, Browning, Charles Daily, Smith & Wesson etc. They are the prime builder of the reproduction classic guns. You do not normally find a Miroku marked without some other name on it. This one is marked " B.C. Miroku" . This is a vent rib o/u 20 ga shotgun with 26" bbls with modified chokes. It has a golden single trigger with select fire. Nearly all finish remains on both metal and wood. Overall condition is VG+. One scratch on the bottom of the buttstock, the only real detraction of the gun. This would be a very fine upland game shotgun.

LANE & READ BOSTON MARKET GUN
Item # MSG597-19-501
Very pretty gun with deluxe stock in VG condition. The furniture is a mixture of iron and brass. The forearm tip being brass and the trigger guard being iron along with the lock plate, buttplate and a couple other parts. Inset gold medallion says "Daniel Webster." Setup more like a standard percussion shotgun, although it is big bore! Approximately a 1" bore. Definitely sets it aside from your average shotgun. The trigger guard is of the square front variety. Rather unique. Dimension wise, this gun makes a little more sense than some of them. The bbl is a reasonable 34" and weight is approximately 10-3/4 pounds. It is a half stock and has a cleaning rod, dark brownish metal that has faded and a very pretty deluxe stock with a cheek piece. Top of the bbl has a rather unique spear shaped flat making sort of a rib for about 1/3 of the bbl length. Action is nice and solid. Daniel Webster must have been a hell of a man to pull the trigger on this baby!

Item # MSG595-21-423

Some sort of a proof mark on the top of the bbl and the numbers 35 on the side of the bbl. No maker indicated. This is a good, high quality piece and heavy duty it definitely is. Thick wall bbl. Relatively smooth metal which is a brownish coloration. Was is possibly a browned finish to start with. Some light pitting around the nipple area. The wood is in quite good condition. However it has had a couple of cracks on the left hand side. One from the buttplate about in the middle of the stock going forward and the other one on the left hand side above the trigger.
