W337 BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM ENGRAVED AND GOLD INLAID WINCHESTER MODEL 12
Item # W337
Engraving is done by master engraver Neil Hartliep. Nearly full coverage engraving in the classical design with two hunting dogs in gold on the sides of the frame, and also a bird in flight on the bottom of the trigger guard. this gun is a pigeon grade with a pigeon on the bottom of the mag tube. Full choked 30 in vent rib bbl. This is a 12-ga. This gun has been used since the custom work was done to it. It has evidence of wear to the magazine tube and a little bit on the high points of the finish. This is beautiful deluxe wood that is in good condition but showing some use. Fit at the screw behind the trigger- there is a gap there. LOP is nearly 15 inches with the addition of a spacer and recoil pad. The forearm wood shows some wear to the checkering and there is one small chip missing out of the top on the right hand side. This would be a fun usable gun..
It is a .22 V/L cal. (case less air ignited cartridge). Daisy produced these for a very short time (1968-69) when the BATF ruled that the gun constituted a firearm and since Daisy was only licensed to manufacture air weapons they decided to discontinue production. 18" round bbl, blued metal, standard sights and walnut stock. Only 4,000 of these Special Presentation Model rifles were produced for dealers. This one is in VG condition with just a couple scratches on the metal and wood.
