R2126 REMINGTON No. 4 TAKE DOWN
Item # R2126
This little rolling block is in 22 cal. Nice smooth metal. Receiver has some very visible case colors. Especially on the left side. Bbl finish is almost all there. Aging. Nice markings and nice sharp edges on the oct. Bore is good with some roughness. Wood has had a coat of varnish. A crack on the bottom but no loss. Decent little gun.

W1554 WINCHESTER MODEL 67
Item # W1554
The 67 was a very good bolt action single shot 22. This one has seen some use. Quite a bit of wear to the blue. Some freckling throughout. Wood is in relatively good solid cond with just some hunting mars. Finish looks like it has been stripped and some oil put on it. A chip missing at the toe. Butt plate is intact. A good user gun for teaching the grand kids how to shoot.
Modern $ 235.
R2124 REMINGTON MODEL 4-S MILITARY MODEL
Item # R2124
The Military model was another variation of the No. 4 which had a short production run and is hard to come by. Production is somewhere in the 5k units made. These were a musket style with 28" bbl, long forearm wood and top wood. The top wood is held on by a bbl band. This is a very nice example of the Military model. VG cond overall. Receiver has some case color remaining. Nice smooth metal. Good markings. Bbl has most blue, some of which is fading. There is a hole in the bottom of the bbl which is correct. The threaded hole is for the lug stud for a bayonet which is rarely seen. Wood is superb. No visible cracks or losses. Sling swivels are present. A very good collectable Remington!
Modern $ 1,575.
R2125 RARE REMINGTON No. 4 CADET RIFLE
Item # R2125
The Cadet is the scarcest and least known of the Remington No. 4's. They were the forerunner of the "Boy Scout" and military rifles which also are scarce! The Cadet is similar having musket style look with long wood and 28" bbl. The difference is the Cadet did not come with the top wood or bbl band. Production was very limited in 1911 and 1912. This is a fine example with aging blue starting to turn just a bit plum. Some wear and age marks towards the muzzle. Frame is orig case color with light remnants of color remaining. The rest has turned a brown/grey. Bore is dirty and needs a good cleaning and may clean up. Wood is way above average. Butt stock has a nice fit with a couple of very light hairline cracks coming off the frame. Forearm is in good cond with just light crack coming off on the right. There is a rub area on the left. Small petite sling swivels which are correct for this gun. This would fit into any 22 cal collection and especially if you are into rolling blocks.
Modern $ 975.
R2113 REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK CARBINE
Item # R2113-24-496
Possibly a Navy model 1867 or a variation of.?. This rolling block is in 45 cal. Not sure which one. This is a carbine with the short forearm held on by a single bbl band. It does have a sling swivel on the bbl band and the butt stock. Overall cond is a bit rough but all there. Mostly grey metal with scattered pitting throughout. Wood is in fair cond with some scrapes and was probably used as a saddle gun at one time back in the old west. Bore has strong rifling but moderate pitting putting it in the fair to good overall cond category. Outside of bbl also has some pitting but pretty good metal. Action works and closes nice. Good hammer and trigger springs. This is an old gun with a lot of Western Flare.
Antique $ 975 .
REMINGTON HEPBURN HEAVY BBL RIFLE
Item # R223
Caliber 45-70. Overall gun looks great; appears to have been used out in the frontier: it's got a rawhide leather strap around the back of the buttstock to be used as a sling and a mark on the bbl where another rawhide strap had been attached. Overall metal is an aged plum brown coloration and has seen a lot of use with a fair amount of neglect but appears to be very much untouched; complete with double set triggers. No doubt this gun has seen alot of frontier use by buffalo hunters and such. Wood has been cleaned but is sound and solid with possibly an old age crack at the wrist. Very colorful, interesting, Western gun.
Antique $ 4,950.
