Good bore. Crisp action. Wood is sound and solid with a coat of glossy lacquer applied. Original sights include a 3 leaf rear. Barrel has thinning blue while receiver is a brown/grey patina with traces of blue around the screws and in the protected areas. This is an early gun made in 1896.

W964 SPECIAL ORDER 1894 WINCHESTER
Item # W964
Equipped with half oct half round bbl, button mag and in cal 30 WCF. A decent looking gun with aging to the metal finish. Bbl is a blue/bronze color. Receiver is mostly a brown/bronze color. I believe this is what would be called "cigarette patina". We see this from time to time when a gun hung in a bar or a home with heavy smokers and they get a gold like color to them. Gives it a nice antique look. Equipped with a tang sight and a Sheard front sight along with orig rear bbl sight. Bore is VG with light roughness. Wood is also in pretty good shape. You can see where someone has done some sanding and there has been a coat of oil added. The forearm has some handling marks and is a bit shy at the forearm cap. Still a decent old Winchester.
Modern $ 1,875.
W446 WINCHESTER PRE-64 94
Item # W446
Standard carbine in 32 Win Spl. Pretty good condition gun with nearly all blue remaining on the bbl and mag tube. Receiver also. Hardly any wear even at the serial number. This gun was not used very much. Unfortunately on the left side someone carved some numbers in it. Operation ID # that was popular in the 70's and 80's or a social security number? It is very visible. There is also a light scratch on the loading gate side that runs most of the length of the receiver. I don't know why but it appears someone applied a coat of varnish also. A good solid gun with very little usage.
Modern $ 775.
W431 SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER 1894

Modern $ 4,975.
W447 PR-64 WINCHESTER 94
Item # W447
Early 50's gun chambered in the not as often seen 32 WS. Likely someone's deer rifle back in the 50's. There is wear at the carry point but the balance has the blue remaining. Wood is also nice. This gun was used but well cared for. Minty bore! Set of sling swivels added.
Modern $ 795.
W444 WINCHESTER FLAT BAND CARBINE
Item # W444
This is a post war pre-64 Winchester 94 carbine in 30 WCF. The Flat Band was an interesting variation of the 94 and only in production for a couple of years at the end of the war and early post-war years. Nice condition gun with nearly all blue remaining. Original full checkered metal buttplate. Very good condition stock. At one time this rifle evidently a sling stud. Has been filled and is barely visible. Forearm is nice also. VG+ bore. Nice action.
Modern $ 895.

Oct bbl, full magazine and crescent buttplate. 30 WCF. Good looking rifle with nearly all bbl blue remaining. Mag tube retains most blue at about 90% with light wear. Even the forearm cap has blue with some wear. Receiver is 90%+ with an area on both sides of the trigger having some blue missing. A late gun at just over 1 million which is getting towards the end of production. This came stock with blued hammer and lever. Most of that blue remains. Stock fits gun condition as being VG. Some scrapes and scratches. Slick action. Great bore!
Modern $ 2,395.
W332 WINCHESTER 1894 RIFLE
Item # W332
This is a '94 round bbl, full mag and crescent butt. Cal 32-40. Very nice bbl and mag tube blue. Standard sights. Looks like there was some light cleaning on top of the rear sight. Receiver has had some steel wool or something used on it to clean some light oxidation. Marks do show. There is some blue remaining and the metal is smooth. Wood is very good overall condition and very nice fitting. No cracks or losses. And what a bore! A nice little Winchester that is nearly 100 years old.

W364 1894 WINCHESTER RIFLE

Receiver has some wear and aging with a blue/brown color to it. Buttstock has a crescent buttplate. Stock is in good condition and has been lightly freshened. Bore is somewhat dark with good rifling. Otherwise nice cond. Receiver blue is pretty good also having 60%+ blue with some wear at the carry point and also the take down ring. VG bore with strong rifling. No cracks or losses to wood.
Modern $ 2,875.
W334 WINCHESTER 1894 RIFLE
Item # W334
30 cal rifle with standard 26" round bbl and full mag. The bbl has some wear and a couple of spots of what appears to be where some chemicals have taken off some of the finish between the forearm and sight and around the rear sight. There is some freckling and light rusting on the receiver bridge and rear of the bbl. This pattern continues on the bolt and some on the receiver. A halfway decent looking gun with the rest of the receiver looking good. Good fitting wood. Bore is a bit dirty and would be good to VG with a cleaning.
Modern $ 1,850.
W388 1894 WINCHESTER OCTAGON BARRELED RIFLE

This is a good honest rifle that has been used and taken care of.
Modern $ 2,150.
W274 WINCHESTER 1894 RIFLE
Item # W274
Cal 32-40. 26" round bbl. 267k serial range. A well used gun that still has some apeal to it. There is some faded blue on the bbl. There are spots that look like they may have been cleaned and cold blue applied. Receiver has blue in protected areas with the balance being grey. Several spots of pitting on the frame making me think this gun probably sat in a gun safe and got rusty. Forearm wood is in good overall condition and is minus the normal crack usually seen on these. Buttstock would be in good condition except that someone whacked off the comb which looks a bit strange. It is equipped with the popular crescent buttplate. Bore is VG. Action is nice. This would be a good vintage hunting firearm. Comes with a Winchester Letter from the Cody Firearms Museum.
Modern $ 1,095.
W255 WINCHESTER 94 PRE-64

An early 1950's gun in exceptional condition. The famed Winchester 94 was the deer rifle of choice for decades. Most got used as such. Cal 30-30. Aside from that this gun is "as new" both inside and out.

W232 WINCHESTER 1894 HALF OCTAGON BBL
Item # W232
Half octagon is a special order. This gun is in 32 WS. Front sight has an addition making it taller. Appears to be the original sight that was slightly modified. The rear sight is the original 32 WS Smokeless sight. Lots of finish remains on this gun. 90%+ on the receiver with some light aging. The bbl also is 90%+ with just a couple of areas of light wear and thinning but blue is pretty much all there on the bbl and mag tube. Good condition wood and a very good bore.

A couple of scratches towards the front sight and light wear in a couple of spots. Mag tube also has nice blue. Receiver has nice blue on the left side and typical flaking on the right. This gun is in the 850k serial range and they had the tendency to do that. The bottom of the buttplate was evidently sitting on something and got a little rust so it has been lightly cleaned and is now a silver/brown color. The top of the buttplate looks nice. The wood also looks nice. It is nice fitting and in VG cond. VG bore, especially for being a 38-55.
Modern $ 2,875.

Light wear towards the muzzle. Front sight is a replacement with a higher blade. Mag tube is a bit strangely colored with a brown finish towards the muzzle and pretty good blue in the center. W1586 WINCHESTER 1894 SRC
Item # W1586 -26-256
There are very interesting markings on this 94. On the stock are the numbers "342" and "LAPD". We assume that is a rack number for the Los Angeles Police Dept but we have no provenance stating such. This gun is in the 810k serial range which puts manufacture date at 1917. It has had very little use. All the bbl blue is there and is bright and shiny. The inside is near perfect. The wood is very nice cond with just a couple of light handling marks. The receiver does have some flaking which is common in this serial range. A very nice low mileage with interesting markings.
Modern $ 2,775.

Wood is very unusual. Special order straight stock checkered dlx grade wood with orig Swiss style buttplate. Fore end cap, receiver and buttplate retain about 97-98% orig silver finish having turned quite dark. Bbl retains about 98% orig blue. The only other time I have seen a gun like this was probably 25-30 years ago. I have not seen another since till now. Glad to get this one in. Probably one of a kind.

W1366 OCTAGON BARREL WINCHESTER MODEL 94
Item # W1366-26-230
Cal 30. 26" oct bbl, full length mag and crescent butt plate. Serial number just over 1 million. Good looking rifle with most metal finish remaining. A little wear to the oct edges. A couple spots on the bbl and a little wear at the muzzle. Receiver has most blue remaining starting to show a little wear. Nice crisp action. VG+ bore. Wood is overall VG cond. Upper right corner there is a small spot of putty. A small chip out. Also on the forearm is a small portion that has been puttied. It does not detract from the gun. A very decent gun with all the desirable features.

W1441 WINCHESTER MODEL 94 IN 32 WS
Item # W1441-26-252
It appears this Winchester has been through some changes over it's lifetime. The serial number is 990k. The front half of the gun is off a 64. Where the model is stamped has been filed lightly and stamped 94. Bbl is 24". Another oddity, there is a saddle ring on it. Rear sight is the flip type and the front sight is the later 64 style ramp. Receiver has quite a bit of blue remaining. Worn at the carry point. A possible re-blue on the receiver. Maybe when they changed the bbl.?. It does look very nice. Shotgun butt on this butt with hard rubber butt plate that has a couple of cracks. Nothing missing. Stock is in VG cond with just a slight splinter missing in top right hand corner. Forearm is very dark but cond is VG. This gun does have a great bore going for it. This gun is just begging to go on a deer, bear or wild bore hunt!!

W1290 ANTIQUE WINCHESTER 1894 SRC
Item # W1290-26-222
Nice early 4-digit serial number. Cal 32-40. Not too bad cond gun with the receiver mostly a typical plum/brown color. The bbl also displays the same color. Good bbl markings. A few dings and scrapes but overall good looking. Buttstock is also not bad. Good fit with just a little shrinkage at the toe. Some deep stain or oil applied years ago. Much has worn off but some still remains. Overall wood cond is exceptional for an 1894 gun. Bottom lever pivot piece is a brighter blue and most likely a replacement. Somewhat of an oversized saddle ring. Ladder style rear sight and standard front sight. The bore is way above average for a 32-40 and would be in the VG range. You do not find a lot of antique 94's anymore, especially in a saddle ring. This would be a great gun for any early Winchester collector.
Antique $ 2,500 sale pending.
W1051 FACTORY GOLD INLAID WINCHESTER MODEL 94 RIFLE
Item # W1051-26-397
This is probably the best 94 that has surfaced in the last half dozen years. It is either a #1 gold inlaid or a #2. I am not really sure. It has 4 gold inlaid animals with a pair of moose in a setting on one side and a pair of deer on the other. Also features numerous gold inlaid lines with swirls and loops and borders. A lot of uncommon motifs on a Winchester. It is a high numbered gun in the 800k serial range. Features a 26" oct bbl in 30 cal. Orig sights include frat top sporting rear sight and Lyman folding tang sight. Pistol grip checkered 3X grade wood in excellent+ condition retaining nearly all the varnish. Shotgun style butt plate. Overall gun is excellent+ with 98% bright shiny orig blue with just slight toning on the high points. Beautiful gun inside and out. Would be hard to improve upon. The best 94 I have ever had and comes from the Arlin McCroskie collection. Guaranteed all original.

W1141 RARE PRE-64 WINCHESTER 94 IN THE 1157000 SERIAL RANGE
Item # W1141-26-221
This gun features the hooded ramp front sight and is in cal 38-55. It would have been one that was assembled out of parts during the war I assume. The gun is in fantastic cond with virtually all blue except some flaking on the lever extension on the bottom. Wood is in excellent+ cond with all orig lacquer. Orig sights. Mint bore. Very interesting gun. All orig. I don't believe I have seen one like this over the years. A fine gun.
