Caliber 25-20. Nice condition gun which exhibits a lot of receiver blue, some flaking and some wear at the carry point; bbl has most blue with some areas worn or thinning. Wood is in VG cond with some wear to the finish, VG bore, Marbles tang sight with small screw in aperature, rear dovetail has a blank and standard front sight. Nice example! e

Caliber 32 WCF. Decent old carbine with a blue brown coloration on the receiver and a blue drifting to brown on the bbl and mag tube. Nice, clean, smooth metal; good markings. Wood in good cond. Equipped with the standard carbine ladder type rear sight and blade front. Bore is in fair to good cond and may clean up to be better than it is now. Good looking carbine. e

44 Caliber. This is a way above average condition Trapper in the 840,XXX serial range. Gun has the normal flaking blue on the receiver that this era of gun had, but still has some blue remaining, bbl also has thinning blue with some pitting on the forward portion of the bbl and mag tube evidently from being in a case for a long time. Bore is bright, shiny and VG. Most Trappers are beat to hell but the stock on this one is in VG cond, nice fitting with no cracks or losses; forearm also very nice and does not have the normal crack in the front but there are some dings and wear marks on it. A couple of special order features which include button magazine and a metal nipple top buttplate. This carbine has a couple of special order features such as a button magazine and a 3-leaf sight of which the center one is broken which is typical of this sight. Gun has a couple of proof marks as well; evidently an export gun. Overall cond is quite good with the receiver mostly a grayish coloration and a brown gray finish on the bbl, all markings are VG, bore is in fair to good cond. Wood is nice fitting and good looking. Nice little carbine. e

Orig sights, bore has a fair amount of pitting but the rifling is fairly sharp; I think it would shoot okay. Also a very minor bulge 4" from the bbl muzzle but it shouldn't affect the shooting. Orig wood is probably better than most with the usual mars, dings and scuffs but no cracks; carbine style buttplate. Overall metal is basically a plum brownish coloration with some very minor frecklings of pits here and there but good traces of blue, sharp corners, good markings. Gun has aged to a grayish patina, some light to moderate pitting on both the receiver and bbl, most likely lightly cleaned a long time ago, orig carbine rear sight which is missing the slide. Wood is in relatively good cond, somewhat full fitting and displaying no losses or cracks; forearm wood is also in good cond with some dings and scrapes, of course. This carbine was initially shipped to Montevideo, Uruguay and has a brass tag in the buttstock so stating this. All bbl blue remains with very light flecking in a couple of spots, mag blue is near perfect, receiver is perhaps 90%+ blue, very nice full fitting wood, crisp clean action, bore is bright, shiny and could use a cleaning. Factory records indicate that it was ordered as a smooth bore with a button mag in carbine style wood. Very unusual little gun, apparently ordered by a trick shot for exhibition shooting. The gun is generally in very nice condition with walnut stocks retaining a fair amount of orig varnish, orig sights, VG bore with a few very minor pits, correct saddlering. Overall metal is VG with traces of orig blue in the protected area, the balance turned a plum brownish coloration. Clean, sharp, very nice little gun; complete with Factory Letter of Authenticity.
