Winch .22 Cal Rifles
(EL-8865) WINCHESTER 2ND MODEL 1890
Caliber 22 Short. This is a nicely aged gun that has quite a bit of eye appeal. Receiver is mostly an plum brown antique patina, bbl retains most blue although drifting towards a brownish coloration, mag tube is in nice cond and is a blue brown color as well. The wood on this little 1890 is in very nice cond with a little oil staining which makes it looks nice, forearm in very nice cond as well. Bore is a little rough but may clean up, nice, slick, tight action. Good little collectible gun for not a lot of money. e

About average cond for an 04, mostly a brownish coloration on the metal, wood exhibits quite a bit of use with dings, scratches, etc and the usual crack off the front of the forearm which has been repaired, light freckling to the metal, very nice readable bbl address, good bore. A collectible little gun reasonably priced. e

Winch .22 Cal Rifles
(EL-8779) WINCHESTER MODEL 1890 IN CALIBER 22 SHORT
A decent looking gun with nice bbl and tang markings, right hand side exhibits light pitting from storage, mostly smooth metal on left side-a few pin-pricks here and there on the bbl but metal is in generally quite good cond as is the wood; nice fitting, no cracks. Metal finish has been touched up years ago with some cold bluing which is mostly wearing off, looks like there may have been a light coat of varnish added as well with no undersize sanding. Bore is rough, could possibly clean up? e
