(MR611-16-428) UNIQUE EXHIBITION GRADE NEW MODEL EVANS CARBINE WITH A 22" BARREL

Original Circassian deluxe wood in excellent condition with about 1/4" sliver missing on both sides. The only one I have ever seen with gold trim. The buttplate, lever release and lever are all gold gilded. This gun came out of Spain where it was an armory for many years and no doubt it was originally a "gift" to an official. It has all the documentation regarding its purchase from Spain by an American Officer in the 1960's. A very neat gun in fine condition. 95% bright vivid receiver blue. Bbl is toned slightly but still retains 90% blue. Parts of the buttplate and the lever retain 90% plus gold gilt. Original sights and VG bore. A very interesting gun! ~~> VIEW PHOTO <~~ e

(MR519-16-238) Model 1865 Spencer Saddle Ring Carbine 50 caliber 6 groove rifling

The bore on this old Spencer is remarkably good! Outside of the bbl is nice blued metal. It has had a blue/black finish applied to it a long time ago. It has standard carbine sights. The receiver is nice, smooth, clean metal that has turned an antiqueish plum coloration. Both forearm and butt stock are in very good condition. Nice fitting. This is a very fine example! ~~> VIEW PHOTO <~~ e
