Marked Remington's Herkimer N.Y. on the lock plate. A total of only 1,000 manufactured. Has .54 caliber 24" round barrel. Brass mount trigger guard, butt plate and barrel bands. Overall gun is in superb condition with nearly all original finsh ramaining on the frame and barrel with vivid case colors on the lock plate, side hammer and the finger lever. Excellent original wood with sharp cartouche marking.
