Made by Furr. He manufactured these by hand in 3 different models. This is the most attractive model with the 10 barrel cluster on an oak carriage. It is in about 1/3 scale to original Gatling Gun. It shoots 22 shorts and is fully functional. I remember seeing these at the Columbus Ohio show in the early 70’s. Mr. Furr made probably a couple hundred of these and then he won the Ohio lottery and quit making them and retired. He had tables across the aisle from me and was a pretty nice guy. This is a beautifully done gun in excellent condition. It is equipped with a 16 slot drum magazine and stands about 21″ high, 24″ wide at the axle ends and 38″ from hitch end to end of barrel housing. Made of oak and brass with the brass being quite brite. Complete with the Gatling markings on a plaque affixed to the back. These have become very desirable and collectable. This one is housed in a beautifully done custom made oak and glass display case measuring about 45″ deep and 28″ high. Case has a 4-legged oak pedestal. This is really a showpiece! A must have for the serious gun collector’s gun room.
