W142A WINCHESTER MODEL 1885 MUSKET IN 40-60 WCF; This is an early Thick-side High Wall Musket in 40-60 WCF caliber. A good looking gun with most thinning original blue remaining on the 32 inch round barrel. Real good bore with a smooth action. Receiver is case colored and has aged to a medium brown/gray color. Nice markings on barrel and frame. Original musket sights. Wood is also very nice with only one small chip missing on the left side by the upper tang. Complete with sling rings and cleaning rod. A hard to find Winchester Musket in this caliber.
