W4205 WINCHESTER MODEL 20 CASED .410 JUNIOR TRAPSHOOTING OUTFIT; Made during the 1920’s as part of Winchester’s “Junior Rifle Corps Moving Target Division”. At the time, Winchester was promoting youth shooting sports through the “Corps” and the guns with accessories to go along with them. The Model 20 Junior Trapshooting Outfit, at a premium of $34.95 was by far the most ambitious and expensive of the kits. This set includes a Model 20 shotgun with a 26 inch barrel choked “FULL” and a single bead front sight. Bright bore. Overall metal is in very good condition with most original blue remaining. Some fading to the receiver. Schnabel tipped walnut forend and semi-pistol grip stock with checkered hard rubber “WRACO” butt plate. Stocks have scattered handling mars and a chip on the grip. Housed in an original fitted black fiberboard case with accessories including a clay thrower, cleaning tools, empty but correct 100 count Winchester “Midget Sized” clays box, 6 25-round Winchester Super Speed Skeet Load .410 boxes which are wrapped and appear full, Winchester Junior Trapshooting score card, Winchester rust remover, Winchester gun grease, and Winchester gun oil. The case and accessories are in good condition with just some typical wear and fading . A nice set that looks great displayed.
