JM1567 PROJECT OR PARTS MARLIN MODEL 93 CARBINE CHAMBERED IN 30-30; 20 inch barrel and full length magazine show about 20% finish with rough handling marks and signs of being cleaned with something abrasive. Very good bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Walnut stocks have been sanded and refinished leaving them slightly shy where they meet the receiver. They have been decorated with tacks, some of which are now missing, to make it resemble guns used by Indians with a symbol referred to as whirling logs which is a symbol of good will and harmony. The sights appear to lean off to the left indicating the barrel was removed for some reason and did get indexed properly when being put back on. Seems to be complete and intact but will not fire or completely cycle ammunition. Needs work… project, parts or folk art.
