MR1619 STEVENS WHIPPET MODEL C 22 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE; 22 inch round barrel chambered in 22 S L OR LR caliber with a bright shiny bore. Original open sights missing the rear elevator. Barrel has traces of original blue with good markings. Trigger is nickel plated with some flaking. Bolt is missing. Wood is in good shape with a rubbed oil finish and steel buttplate that has some light roughness as well. Find a bolt or use for parts. These “Whippet” rifles were often a youngsters first rifle being light, inexpensive and a single shot.
