W3841 BEAUTIFUL WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 DELUXE RIFLE IN CALIBER 40-60; 28 inch octagon barrel chambered in 40-60 caliber with a full length magazine tube. Bright shiny near excellent bore. Sights include a Beachs gold gilded front and “1876” marked folding ladder rear with a 4 inch thick base folding tang sight. Barrel and magazine tube retain about 95% bright original blue. Receiver has about 90% coverage of case color ranging from vivid to slightly thinning towards the front. Vivid case colors on the hammer and lever. Crisp tight action. Beautifully checkered 3x grade walnut is in excellent condition with just a few minor handling mars. Rifle style buttplate showing a good amount of case color. Comes complete with a Factory Letter from the Cody Firearms Museum in Cody Wyoming listing all the features. This gun is from the Ray Bentley Collection. He was known for having some of the finest stuff in the country. This is just a beautiful rifle inside and out. Would be hard to improve upon this Model 1876.
