C396 ETCHED PANEL COLT NEW LINE REVOLVER IN CALIBER 38; 5 Shot Long Flute cylinder revolver with 4 inch round blued barrel with “COLT NEW 38” in a panel on the left side. Right side of the barrel has a retailer inscription “Cogswell & Harrison 142 New Bond St London”. Good bore and mechanics. Overall metal is in good condition with traces of case color on the frame and fire blue on the hammer, spur trigger and screws. Loading gate. Rosewood grips are in good condition as well with just some handling mars and a notch out on the right side. Nice little Colt that comes complete with a Factory Letter. Made in 1880.
