MR1250 SHARPS CONVERSION SPORTING RIFLE; 28 inch round barrel marked “Old Reliable”. Also marked 40 and 1-7/8 inches. Correct Sharps sight. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Should make a good shooter. Barrel was taken off a Sharps in 160k serial range and put on this gun. I believe the conversion was done at the Sharps Factory. Wood is in very good condition with a fair amount of varnish remaining with some oil soaking. Sharps rifle style buttplate. This was originally a carbine receiver. A nice clean gun.
