R2430 REMINGTON MODEL 12-A SLIDE ACTION RIFLE FOR 22 S, L or LR; 22 inch round barrel. Near excellent bore that is bright and shiny with decent rifling. Original sights include a No. 28 silver bead front and a No. 98½ rear. Barrel, magazine and receiver show about 90% original finish showing light wear and handling marks. Straight grip walnut stock and grooved forearm show a coat of finish added with light wear and handling marks. Features a Remington UMC marked hard rubber buttplate. These were made from 1909-1936.
