W4106 WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 SRC IN 44 WCF; Standard 20 inch round barrel blade front carbine configuration chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a slightly shiny bore that has visible rifling. Sights include a blade front with a folding ladder carbine rear. Barrel and magazine tube are a brown/gray patina with good markings. Receiver is also about the same color with some scattered patches of light pitting and minor dings. Original saddle ring. Hammer and lever as well as the crescent buttplate are a brown/gray color also. The barrel band screw is missing. Walnut stocks show some chips dings and handling marks as well as a crack on the left side of the wrist. Mechanically it functions fine. The 620k serial range shows it was made in 1907. A cleaning rod in the butt. A desirable carbine in a desirable caliber that looks like it has a story to tell.
